We recommend that external house washing be performed annually.

This does depend on different factors, like - the amount of sunlight your house gets, if the property is in a damp or built up area, or has a lot of trees that are in close proximity to your house, even weather has an effect on regrowth - ( more rain/moisture more mould ).

High pressure cleaning on your walls and paint can be too harsh.

We advise NO high pressure should ever be applied to the surface of your house because it can be too harsh on the paint and wood, not to mention that it will force water into places we don’t want it to go.

Physical contact, combined with our specialised and gentle cleaning solutions is a more thorough and safer option for house washing.

It must be stated that mould is the key contributor to paint “failing” as the spores get under the paint surface and continue to grow until eventually popping off the paint and causing it to crack, lift and ultimately fall away from the surface.

If you do not remove the mould before re-painting you are dramatically reducing the life of your new paint job. Even sanding the house will not remove all the mould spores.

Our cleaning solution will kill mould and prepare the surface for painting, therefore helping to prolong the life of the paint.

Preparation is the key to a long lasting paint job.

Having your house washed regularly is the best thing for reducing mould spores.

Our cleaning solution kills mould and mildew that may cause allergy flare ups. Every clean we do sanitises surfaces and kills bacteria.

Not necessarily, however the most common water entry/leakage points are around the bottom of the doors.

All care is taken to prevent this, but occasionally it can happen. Use old towels around your window and door frames while the house washing is taking place if you are concerned.

We estimate the house washing to take approximately 2-4 hours, but this can vary depending on your needs and the aesthetics of your property.  This will be dependant on the size of your home.

Yes, house washing is very essential.

Mould, mildew and grime still grow on your bricks, it’s just not as obvious.  If you just have your external guttering, eaves, soffits and windows washed, all the dirty run off will flow onto your bricks.

Yes - The deck / patios walls and ceiling are included in the house washing service – the floor area is rinsed / hosed off, not high pressure cleaned.

You can pay our technician for the house washing service on the day of the service.

You can also call our office and pay via Credit Card.

There is no surcharge for Credit Card Payments

No one needs to be home for the house washing. However, we do recommend if you know your property leaks that you are home during the house washing to communicate with the technician.

We do need full external access of the perimeter.

A rotary high pressure cleaning system will clean 20 inches at a time, and is walked up and down the area like a lawn mower, covering larger areas quicker and uses far less water to do the same size area.

A wand pressure cleaner has a tendency to leave behind stripe marks when dried because of the inconsistent pressure and distance from the jet head. It also leaves minute amounts of grime behind. While the surface is still wet, it is hard to tell if the job has been done properly until the area is completely dry. With the use of the rotary washer there are no striped marks left behind as it is consistently applying the same high pressure over the entire area.

Please ensure all items in the vicinity are moved to allow our technician to effectively high pressure clean the whole area; for example, pot plants, bird cages, outdoor furniture, and electrical items.

Please make us aware of any areas of concern or any particular areas that require attention BEFORE we begin pressure cleaning; for example, cracks, chips, soft areas or any weakened areas.

It will clean the area but not a thoroughly, and it will take you a lot longer than high pressure cleaning.  We have specialised equipment and materials to do a much better job, a lot faster and using less water.

Yes,  guttercleaning can be a messy job - Please ensure all items in the vicinity are moved to allow our team to effectively clean out the guttering systems and to prevent debris landing on any items/belongings left within the vicinity of cleaning.

The amount of trees near your home will determine this – the more trees, the more frequently you will require a gutter clean.

We recommend having your gutters cleaned yearly (depending on your situation, this may need to be done more or less frequently)

You will notice signs like, rain water overflowing, weeds growing out of your gutters, birds maybe attracted to your gutters, water not flowing to your tank or your gutter is sagging.

Pressure cleaning roofs is important to the life of the paint.

How long it stays on your roof will be due to how it was prepared before the paint was applied.

Our roof cleaning process removes any build-up of grime or mould, making a clean surface for your painter to paint on and will increase the longevity of your paint.  

The same process is used when we perform roof cleaning on most types of roof materials like colorbond, iron, metal and cement tiled roofs. The only material we do not use the rotary washer on is the terracotta roof.

Terracotta roofs require a different roof cleaning process because its such a grippy surface for lichen to cling onto. 

It often requires a 3 step process:

1- Pre spray roof 

2 - Pressure wash

3 - Final spray to brighten surface and kill any remnants

This process takes much longer than a standard roof clean, and often, Terracotta roofs have a much steeper pitch.

We use a combination of up to date satellite mapping and aerial photography technology systems to measure your individual property surfaces; we calculate the surface area and deliver to you, via email, a firm quote specifically tailored to your requirements and needs

Please understand that each house is unique, which is why we measure the perimeter of your property to ensure we have incorporated everything you need for your individual property. Your quote will vary depending on the surface area measured.

Roof Cleaning prices start at $1.70 per square meter for colorbond, metal and cement tile roofs.

Terracotta roofing starts from $4.00 per square meter plus GST.

We offer an anti-mould spray for a small additional fee; this keeps the mould and mildew at bay and protects your roof surface for longer. This will also brighten the surface as well. ( Highly recommended )

Roof Cleaning does not include gutter cleaning. If you would like both services please specify so your quote can be structured to your personal requirements.

There is no definitive answer to this question.  

Factors like, the amount of sunlight, rain/humidity, bird/bat droppings and even dust, all have an effect on how long your roof will stay clean.

We recommend have your roof cleaned every 3 years to keep it looking its best.

No! We use pumps and filter socks to divert the flow of dirty water away from the storm drain.  We follow EPA and Council regulations.

It can, pending of the quality of the paint; we can do a test area first.

All care is taken to prevent this from happening - we can adjust the PSI on our machines to suit your surface or we can chemically clean your roof, which is gentler on the surface.
